About Us

Accountable engineering. From start to finish.

We build what works, measure what matters, and you own the result.

Our story

Built to work the other way

Most software firms are paid to build more. That incentive shapes everything: scope creep, juniors billed as seniors, code you can't maintain. We built BlueSheep to work differently.

We take on fewer projects, staff with people who've shipped real work, and measure against a number rather than a promise. When something shouldn't be built, we say so, even when it's our revenue. We run the same five-phase process every time: with a named project manager, a signed off discovery document, change requests agreed in writing, and a proper closure at the end. Not rigid, just clear. The result is a partnership that works like your own best team: accountable, honest about trade-offs, and there when you need the next thing built.

What drives us

Mission and vision

Mission

To build software the way it should be built, measured, owned by you, and made to last, so ambitious teams can trust the technology their business runs on.

Vision

A world where hiring an engineering partner feels as accountable as hiring your own best engineers. No black boxes. No bait and switch. No vanity metrics.

How we work

Four things we don't compromise on

  1. 01

    A partner, not a vendor

We help decide what to build, not just how. The most valuable thing we do is often talk you out of a feature.

  2. 02

    Discovery before development

Architecture, documentation and a release roadmap are signed off before production code, not halfway through the build.

  3. 03

    Nothing changes silently

Drift from agreed scope is logged as a change request, sized, and agreed in writing by both sides before anyone acts on it.

  4. 04

    You own everything

Code, architecture, and documentation are yours from day one. Every engagement ends with a proper handover and a closure report.

Who you work with

The roles behind every engagement

We all own quality together
  1. Project manager

Provides planning, coordination, client communication, and tracking scope, time and cost from day one.

  2. Solution architect

Owns the architecture, and the data model, with each choice justified on scalability, flexibility and long-term support.

  3. Tech lead

Owns technical decisions and estimates inside the build, and holds the code to the standards agreed in Sprint Zero.

  4. UI/UX design

Owns user journeys, personas and prototypes, moving from low to high fidelity with your feedback.

  5. QA

Creates test plan and revises it at every milestone, so quality is checked continuously instead of at the end.

  6. DevOps

Owns environments, repositories and pipelines, stood up against the approved architecture before the first sprint begins.
